Browser Compatibility

The Snohomish County website was designed to support Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 (and above). These browsers currently account for the vast majority of the visitors to the county website. Other browsers may work, but have not been tested for compatibility.

Many documents on the Snohomish County web site are provided in Adobe Acrobat format.

Web Site Availability

Snohomish County will make reasonable efforts to provide Internet access to its public Web site and associated web applications during normal business hours (Monday through Friday, 8 am through 5 pm).  The county has made a conscious decision not to expend the dollars required to staff 24 hours, 7 days a week support for Internet applications or access.

Whenever possible, we attempt to provide system availability outside of normal business hours. However, general maintenance of these systems is routinely required. These activities will generally be conducted outside normal business hours. Please note that some services may not be available during these periods.

Data Mining and Security

Information found on the Snohomish County public web site is public and provided for the convenience of customers who wish to access records via the Internet in lieu of searching using traditional means. It is designed and intended for individual record/document viewing and has not been compiled or linked for commercial purposes.

By submitting an online request for this information, you agree to abide by the following terms of use:

• You (“User”) agree that you may use this information only for lawful purposes and that under no circumstances will you use this information to enable high volume, automated, electronic processes that apply to the Snohomish County web site (or its computer systems).
