Cultural Resources

Snohomish County's cultural resource programs provide tax incentives to owners of Local Register properties; traveling exhibits and programs; and cultural tourism opportunities and technical assistance for heritage organizations

Economic Development Programs

Snohomish County is going to take all opportunities to match our tax base to our desired high level of services. In 2004, 19 leaders from across the county formed the Executive’s Citizens Cabinet  (Executive Order–pdf file) and wrote a business plan for the county. The Executive provides more information on this plan and other economic development initiatives.
